Geraldine Varnadoe Stroup passed away at the age of 80 years old, on May 21, 2020 at Hazlehurst Court Nursing Home in Hazlehurst Georgia.

Geraldine loved to go fishing in her pond and work in her yard and flower beds. She enjoyed having family and friends over for cook outs and just to enjoy each other's company.
Geraldine was the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Varnadoe and Ruth Lovvorn Varnadoe. She was preceded by her late husband Hubert O. Stroup, her beloved son Brain H. Scott, two brothers James W. Varnadoe, Mitchell Varnadoe Sr., and her Papa and MA maw Lovvorn.

Survivors include her sister Patsy Varnadoe Hamilton, her nice Cindy Cabral, two nephews Mitch and Darrell Varnadoe, sister- in- law Irene S. Varnadoe, two great nephews Derrick Cabral, and Michael Cabral, two great nieces Ana and Ashley Varnadoe, cousin Clemmie Lovvorn, and loving friends.

Graveside services will be held June 6, 2020 at 2:00pm in Riverside Cemetery.
