Mrs. Gladys W. Trowell, age 86, of Hazlehurst, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Genesis Healthcare. Mrs. Trowell was born October 10, 1929 in Turner County to the late Tom Willougby and the late Eunice Mathis Willougby. She was a House Wife and Member of the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship. Survivors include her husband, Norman Trowell of Hazlehurst; two daughters, Kay Davis of Mississippi and Dianne Gilbreth of Hazlehurst; two sons, Willis Trowell of Hortense and Barry Trowell of Hazlehurst; Sister, Cordelia Croft of Brunswick; Fifteen Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 from 12:00-3:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Tyron Hutcheson and Rev. Richard Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Gladys W. Trowell, age 86, of Hazlehurst.
