Glenda Roberson Colson, age 68, of Hazlehurst died Friday, May 25, 2013 at Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia. Mrs. Colson was born January 1, 1945 in Coffee County to the late Mackenzie Roberson and the late Beatrice Taylor Roberson. She was a Homemaker, she was retired from Hazlehurst Mills and was a member of the Hazlehurst Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Colson, daughter, Camille Colson and brother, Roy Roberson. Survivors include two Daughters and Sons-In-Law, Donna (Bruce) Johns and Sheila (Todd) Moseley; two Sons and Daughter-In-Law, Dale (Tammy) Colson and Norman Colson all of Hazlehurst; brothers, Jimmy Roberson of Douglas and Edward Roberson of Little Rock, AR; 6 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6-8pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 27, 2013 at 11:00am at Hazlehurst Church of God with Rev. Nathan Smith and Rev. Keith Yawn officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
