Mrs. Glenda McLain Lewis, age 67, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, June 04, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Lewis was born December 11, 1947 in Appling County to the late Leonard McLain and the late Winnie Johnson McLain. She was retired from Piggly Wiggly where she worked many years as manager of the Deli and a faithful member of Bridgeford Church of God. Survivors include her husband, A.J. Lewis, Sr. of Hazlehurst; Sons and Daughter-In-Law, A.J. Jr. and Lisa Lewis and Wayman and Teresa Lewis all of Hazlehurst; Sister, Agnes (Randy) Sellers of Baxley; Sister-in-Law, Stella Summerlin and Connie (Norman) Haynes of Hazlehurst; Brother, Robert McClain of Jesup; Five Grandchildren, Austin Lewis, Nate Lewis, Ali Lewis, Drew Lewis, Savannah Kate Lewis and several nieces and Nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 06, 2015 from 6-8pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, June 07, 2015 at Bridgeford Church of God at 3:00pm with Rev. Milton Thomas, Rev. Brad Waters, Pastor Agnes Sellers and Bishop Randy Sellers officiating. Interment will follow in the Bridgeford Church of God Cemetery.
