Mrs. Glenda Martinez, age 74, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, December 19, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Martinez was born July 21, 1946.  She was formerly employed with News Group in Houston Tx. and had lived in Jeff Davis County most of her life. Mrs. Martinez was preceded in death by her daughter, Gwen Davis, brothers, Clifford Phillips and sisters, Reba Leigh Waters, Verna Mae and Teresa Smith.

Survivors include her husband, Jose Cruz Martinez of Hazlehurst; son, Glen Hall of Hazlehurst; step sons, Robert Martinez, Ricardo Martinez and Jose Martinez all of Houston TX; brothers, Grady Phillips of Livingstone TX and Troy Phillips of Hazlehurst;

Several nieces and nephews also survived.

Graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 11:00am at Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Andy Williams officiating.
