Glynn Edwin Miles, age 78, of Reidsville, formerly of Hazlehurst, died Monday, December 24, 2018 in Tattnall Health Care Center. Mr. Miles was born October 13, 1940 in Jeff Davis County to the late John Edwin Miles and the late Beatrice Harrell Miles. He was the retired owner of Miles Body and Repair Shop and member of Oakland Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his step-mother, Lillie Lovett Miles, brother, Benny Miles, sister, Melba Lightsey, and grandson, Jacob Steven Bloodworth. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Livingston Miles of Lumber City; son, Jeffery G. Miles (Rhonda) of Hazlehurst; daughter, Shari Miles of Hazlehurst, Donna M. Norris (Dean) of Hazlehurst; granddaughters, Kayla Miles, Kasey Vega (Jorge), Heather Shumans (Michael Hadden); grandsons, Dakota Touchton (Ashley), Chris Hall (Angel), Chad Miles, Zachery Norris and Patrick Norris; twelve great-grandchildren; brothers, Roger Miles (Mary Ann) and Randall Miles (Diane); numerous nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 28, 2018 at 11:00am at Oakland Baptist Church with Rev. Royce Hulett and Rev. Joey Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
