Mrs. Grace Moseley Callahan, age 81, of Hazlehurst, died Friday, September 17, 2021 at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Mrs. Callahan was born September 20, 1939 in Uvalda.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jasper K. (Jay) Moseley and Emma Gillis Moseley, husband, Mr. Oscar Callahan Jr., sister, Eula Edwards, brothers, Roscoe Moseley, Newton Moseley and Alex Moseley.

She and her husband owned and operated Callahan's Nursery for approximately 53    years. She enjoyed cooking, running the family nursery business, and was an avid sports fan. Everyone will remember Ms. Grace because of her kindness and sweet disposition, and she always had a smile for you. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hazlehurst.

Survivors include her two sons and daughter-in-law, Mark G. Callahan of Hazlehurst and Franklin E. and Marie Callahan of Starkville MS; three sisters, Emma Lou Williams, Jeanette NeeSmith and Lorene Moseley.

Private Family Graveside Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 11:00am in the Mosely Family Cemetery in Uvalda with Rev. J. Barry Owens officiating.
