Gwendolyn Ann Pearson, age 76 of Hazlehurst, passed away peacefully at her residence.

Ms. Pearson was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She was a kind person and was very fond of spending time with her friends and family. Born and raised in Hazlehurst and was a graduate of Jeff Davis High in 1965. She worked many years for Amaco Fabrics and during her career served in several locations including Dalton, GA, Atlanta, Hazlehurst and Los Angeles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh M. Pearson, and Jessie Hall Pearson.

Gwen is survived by her brother and sister-in-law; Mel and DeLaine Pearson, nieces and nephews; Wendy Brinley (Scott), Jeffrey Pearson (Megan), Lauren Hoffman, great nieces and nephews; Garrett Pearson, Ava Brinley, Landon Pearson, Miles Brinley, Leah Hoffman, Elaina Pearson, Walker Hoffman and Grayson Hoffman. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
