Mrs. Harriett Hulett Brown, age 86, of Lumber City, died Friday, September 21, 2018 at Lumber City Nursing Home. Mrs. Brown was born December 02, 1931 in Telfair County to the late Duncan Hulett and Eliza Roberson Hulett. She was a Homemaker and member of the Lumber City Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Guy P. (Snookes) Brown, four brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Trish Turner (John) of Hazlehurst; son, Perry Brown (Renee) of Lumber City; sister-in-law, Alma Scott of Hartwell; six grandchildren, Beth Beckworth, Lori Linebarger (Phillip), John Turner Jr. (Kate), Josh Turner, Bradley Brown (Cammie) and Bonnie Brown; six great-grandchildren, Haden Beckworth, Turner Beckworth, Jorja Beckworth, Brazz Linebarger, Trey Turner and Bree Linebarger; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 24, 2018 at 2:00pm at Lumber City Baptist Church with Rev. Merle Webster and Rev. Ashley Tyree officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery Mrs. Brown will lie in state one hour prior to service.
