Mrs. Hazel Starnes, age 93, of Hazlehurst, died Friday, June 12, 2015 in the Lumber City Nursing Home. Mrs. Starnes was born January 25, 1922 in Gulfport Mississippi but had resided most of her life in Hazlehurst. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Archie Starnes, Sr. and Daughter, Mary Louise Starnes. Survivors include Son, Archie Starnes, Jr. of Lumber City and Grandson, Harold Starnes of Baxley. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge.
