Hazel Yawn Worth, age 70, of Hazlehurst died Monday, March 09, 2020 at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Mrs. Worth was born October 29, 1949 in Jeff Davis County to the late John Gideon Yawn and the late Ruby Lewis Yawn. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Hazlehurst Church of God. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Linda O'Neil, Jimmy Yawn and Donald Yawn.

Survivors include her husband, John Worth of Hazlehurst; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Chad McDaniel of Hazlehurst, son and daughter-in-law, Stacy and Staci Worth of Vidalia; siblings, Wilbur Yawn (Wynell), Johnny Yawn, Sherryl Holton (Andy) and Glenn Yawn (Maria); six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survived.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 12, 2020, at 2:00pm at the Hazlehurst Church of God with Rev. John Nunes, Rev. Gino Mayo and Rev. Nathan Smith officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Worth will lie in state one hour prior to service.
