Helen Whalen Williams, age 77, of Lumber City, died Tuesday, October 04, 2016, at Emory Universal in Atlanta. Ms. Williams was born October 22, 1938 in Telfair County to the late James Harris Whalen and the late Vera Wiley Whalen. She was employed with Lumber City Egg Marketers and a member of Fishing Creek Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Williams, sister, Barbara Williams and brother, James Whalen. Survivors include three Sons and Daughter-in-Law, Mike and Paulette Williams of Hazlehurst, Eddy Williams and Wade Williams, both of Lumber City; Sisters, Betty Claxton of Swainsboro and Ann Brewer of Work More; Grandchildren, Whysper Williams, Edward Williams, Christa Sheeler and Clay Crosby; Great-Grandchildren, Harrison Sheeler, Reed Crosby, Tessa Crosby; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held Friday, October 07, 2016 at 10:00am in the Riverside Cemetery with Rev.
