Herman O. Brown, age 94, of Marietta, died Thursday, September 18, 2014. Mr. Brown was born February 06, 1920 in Dothan Alabama to the late William E. Brown and the late Martha Wilkes Brown. He was a Communication Supervisor with Southern Bell and was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Ryals Brown. Survivors include Three Daughters and Sons-in-law, Nancy and Donnie Pennington, Helen and Christopher Mobley and Martha and Perry Johnson; Son and Daughter-in-law, Herman Jr. and Helene Brown; Twelve Grandchildren, Five Great-Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Great Grandchild. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Pennington officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Lumber City. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Herman O. Brown, age 90, of Marietta.
