Mr. Homer "Buddy" Rentz, age 82, of Graham, died Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at his son's residence.

Mr. Rentz was born December 18, 1937 in Jeff Davis County to the late Grady Rentz and the late Ruth Hesters Rentz.

He was a retired Carpenter and was preceded in death by his grandson, Shawn Foskey, sisters, Betty Truett, Doris Rentz, brothers, Holt Rentz and Herman Rentz.

Survivors include his wife, Annette Hebert Rentz of Graham; three sons, Tony Rentz of Graham, Timmy Rentz (DeeDee) of Graham and Terry Rentz of Hazlehurst; sisters, Joyce Rowell (Joby) and JoAnn Bass (Lee); brothers, Benny Rentz, and Don Rentz (Loney); five grandchildren, Bryan Rentz (Sabrina), Neil Rentz (Mary Alice), Matthew Rentz, Kaylee Rentz, Makell Rentz; five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survived.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 31, 2020 at 3:00pm at Hazlehurst Church of God with Rev. Robert Wigley, Rev. John Nunes and Rev. Johnny Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Rentz will lie in state one hour prior to service.
