Jacob Steven Bloodworth, age 34, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, April 24, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross. Mr. Bloodworth was born November 28, 1982 in Coffee County but had lived most of his life in Jeff Davis County. He was employed with Piggly Wiggly for 17 years and member of Oakland Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Clinton Bloodworth. Survivors include his daughter, Jada Bloodworth of Hazlehurst; mother, Shari Miles of Hazlehurst; father, Jeff Bloodworth of Hazlehurst; maternal-grandparents, Kathryn Miles of Lumber City and Glynn Miles of Hazlehurst; paternal grandparent, Jeanette Bloodworth Lambert of Tampa FL; sister, Heather Shuman of Hazlehurst; brothers, Nick Bloodworth and Skylar Bloodworth both of N. Augusta. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Dustin Hutto and Rev. Royce Hulett officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Jacob Steven Bloodworth, age 34, of Hazlehurst.
