James Edward (Toody) Howard, age 67, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, November 24, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Howard was born March 27, 1951 in Jeff Davis County to the late John Frank Howard and the late Lucille Mincey Howard. He was a retired Truck Driver with Williams Brothers Trucking and a member of Graham Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Howard and brother, John Frank Howard, Jr. Survivors include his three daughters, Lisa Wooten, Sonja Nipper and Cheree Barnard (Wally) all of Hazlehurst; sisters, Lucy Williams and Sherry Howard; brothers, Jerry Howard and Joey Howard; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Jinker Horton and Rev. Glenn Selph officiating. Interment will follow in the Satilla Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for James E. (Toody) Howard, age 67, of Hazlehurst.
