Mr. James Edward Moon, age 83, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Community Hospice in Vidalia.

Mr. Moon was born April 15, 1938 in Jeff Davis County.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Tribble Moon, Bertie Adrian Overstreet, siblings, Benjamin Donald Moon, Carolyn Jenelle Moon, Samuel Lewis Moon, Betty Ruth Hartless, Bobby Terell Moon and Mary Joan Ford. He previously attended The Sunshine Center in Baxley, he loved to listen to country and gospel music, and loved to watch TV.

Survivors include his sister, Linda Prichett of Hazlehurst; cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside funeral services were held Wednesday, November 03, 2021 at 2:00pm in the Hazlehurst City Cemetery with Rev. Keith Yawn and Rev. Denny Waters officiating.
