James Ellis Walker, age 83, of Hazlehurst, died Friday, November 29, 2019 at Hazlehurst Court Care.

Mr. Walker was born October 15, 1936 in Ocilla to the late William Clayton Walker and the late Susie Mae Tomberlin Walker. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, retired Farmer and a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Melinda Atkinson (John) of Hazlehurst and Gina Walker of Washington State; step-son, Dwayne Elliott of Glennville; siblings, Nancy Fletcher (Charles) of Fitzgerald, Rick Walker (Joy) of New Salem FL,          Peggy Gentry of Tifton and Judy Wynn (Haynes) of Fitzgerald; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

A private memorial service will be held Saturday, December 07, 2019 at 2:00pm in Fitzgerald.
