James Gregory White, age 30, of Hazlehurst, died Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Georgia Regency University Hospital of Augusta. Mr. White was born August 1, 1985 in Telfair County. He was a Truck Driver employed by CT Transportation. He is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather, JT. White. Survivors include his wife; Amanda Reagin White of Hazlehurst; three sons, Matthew White, Andrew White and Kaleb White all of Hazlehurst; Parents, Alicia Ashley of Alamo and Greg White of Milledgeville; Step-Father, Silas Dukes of Hazlehurst; two sisters, Connie Dukes of Alamo and Valerie Dunlap of Eastman; three Brothers, Daniel (Cassandra) Dukes of Hazlehurst, Josh Helms of Eastman and Kody White of Lumber City; Maternal Grandparents, Eva Crawford of Alamo and Eddie Ashley of McRae; Paternal Grandmother, Joyce Elliott of Milledgeville; three nieces also survived. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 13, 2016, Visitation will start at 2:00pm and Funeral Services starting at 3:30pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Watford and Rev. Brad Harper officiating. The family may be contacted at the residence, 26 W. First Avenue in Alamo. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to wife Amanda White or Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.
