Mr. Jasper Kenny Colson, age 65, of Hazlehurst, died Friday, October 13, 2017 at Jeff Davis Hospital. Mr. Colson was born December 27, 1951 in Jeff Davis County to the late Jasper Colson and the late Mary Colson. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lavada Colson and brothers, Glenn Colson and Roger Colson. Survivors include two sisters, Barbara Spell of Hazlehurst and Iris McNatt of Douglas; five brothers, Roy Colson, Russell Colson, Danny Joe Colson, Dean Colson and Robert Colson all of Hazlehurst; several nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00am in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gary Jones officiating.
