Mrs. Jean Conner McNeal, age 85, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, April 16, 2018 at the Pavilion in Baxley. Mrs. McNeal was born April 17, 1933 in Appling County to the late Idell Johnson. She was a Homemaker, kept children in her home for several years and member of Southside Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Hiley McNeal and two sons, Mike McNeal and Kim McNeal. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Buddy Creech of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Brandon Creech, Brooke Creech, Justin McNeal, Jessie Caulson and Johnny Caulson; two great-grandchildren, Braydon Creech and Haydon Creech; several nieces and nephews also survived; and special friend, George Murray. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Mr. Steve Sumner and Rev. Jeffery Spell officiating. Interment will follow in Palms Memorial Garden. The family may be contacted at the residence of Gail and Buddy Creech, 132 Eureka Church Road, Hazlehurst.
