Jeanette Creamer Courson, age 82, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Lumber City Health and Rehab. Mrs. Courson was born September 5, 1931 in Jeff Davis County to the late Joseph Daniel Creamer and the late Ada Mae Hall Creamer. She was retired from Hazlehurst Mills and was a member of the Hazlehurst Church of God. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Courson, sisters, Geneva Lewis, Evelyn Courson, Carol Dean Johns, Eula Mae Herrington and brother, Jimmy Creamer. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Ruby and Ronnie Carelock of Hazlehurst and Kay and Keith Stafford of Hazlehurst; sisters, Jean Spell, Betty Taylor and Rhonda Rowland all of Hazlehurst; Brother, Billy Joe Creamer of Hazlehurst; Four Grandchildren, Chelsea Harrelson, Brodie Bohannon, Bryan Carelock and Eric Carelock; Six Great-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 4:00-6:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 17, 2014 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Herrington and Rev. Nathan Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Palms Memorial Gardens. Family may be contacted at the residence of Ronnie and Ruby Carelock, 2 Grove Street, Hazlehurst.
