Mrs. Jeanette Joyce, age 87, of Hazlehurst, died Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at The Garden at Southern Manor in Statesboro. Mrs. Joyce was born September 24, 1929 in Coffee County to the late Mack Robert Tarrant and the late Pauline Burkett Tarrant. She was retired from Southern Bell, of the Baptist Faith and is preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Joyce. Survivors include two daughter, Teresa Wilcox of Denton and Iris Foskey of Waycross; son, James E. Powell, Jr. of Hazlehurst; ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 31, 2017, at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor with Mrs. Sheila Marchant officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Springs Cemetery.
