Mrs. Jeannine Hinson Smith, age 84, of Hazlehurst, died Friday, December 22, 2017 at Jeff Davis Hospital. Mrs. Smith was born December 04, 1933 in Ware County to the late Dan Woodrow Hinson and the late Carol Fletcher Hinson. She was a retired School Teacher with Jeff Davis County Board of Education and member of the First United Methodist Church of Hazlehurst. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Smith. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Dawn Conner of Macon, Drew and Suetlana Conner of N. Augusta and Scott and Stacy Conner of Watkinsville; sisters, Danice Moore Englehardt of Daytona and Lynda Kroeger of Dunwoody; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Sunday, December 24, 2017 at First United Methodist Church, visitation will begin at 2:00pm and funeral service will follow at 3:00pm with Rev. Josh Duckworth officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Hazlehurst.
