Jeffery Aaron Newham, age 49, of Hazlehurst, died Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Newham was born August 18, 1968 in Jeff Davis County and was a Superintendent with Richmond Baking in Alma. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Nichole Newham. Survivors include his fiancé, Norie Yawn of Hazlehurst; two daughters, Sabrina Newham of Hazlehurst and April Newham Taylor (Randy) of Cedar Crossing; parents, Aaron and Mildred Trowell Newham of Hazlehurst; sisters, Sharon Newham of Hazlehurst and Michelle Mobley (John) of Hazlehurst; brother, Jerry Newham of Palm Bay FL.; nieces, nephews, several aunts, uncles and cousins also survived. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 03, 2018 at 1:00pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Brazzell officiating. Interment will follow in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Newham will lie in state one hour prior to service.
