Mrs. Jerricene Rixcketson Tate, age 80, formerly of Hazlehurst, died Monday, November 04, 2019 in Jacksonville Florida at her sons home.

Mrs. Tate was born July 12, 1939 in Jeff Davis County to the late Jim Vinson Ricketson and the late Lorena Trowell Ricketson. She was a retired Secretary with Bell South and a member of Mt Pleasant Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Tate and brother, Jimmy Ricketson.

Survivors include her daughter, Denise Guffey of Jacksonville FL. and son, Joel Guffey of Jacksonville FL.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday, November 07, 2019

at 2:00pm at Mt Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. Jerry Wooten officiating.
