Obituary

Mr. Jerry Lenuel Parlor, age 73, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, October 11, 2021, at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas.

Mr. Parlor was born April 06, 1948 in Jeff Davis County. He is preceded in death by his father, Archie Parlor and his brother, Leon Parlor. He was a retired mechanic, formerly employed with Appling County Road Department, attended Oakland Baptist Church and was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Hazlehurst. He loved to fish, mechanic and spend time with his children and especially his grandchildren, his children summed up his personality as being very kind, patient and humble and he will be sadly missed by all.

Survivors include his daughter, Christy Lautieri (Anthony) of Scottsville KY; son, Joshua Parlor of Hazlehurst; mother, Mrs. Lalen Parlor of Hazlehurst; sister, Wanda Parlor Sellers(David) of Hazlehurst; six grandchildren, Presley O'Neal, Abby Swain, Emily Lautieri, Brianna Parlor, Baylee Parlor and Landen Parlor; several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive; and a special friend, Ann Leggett of Baxley.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 at 11:00am at Oakland Baptist Church with Rev. Royce Hulett, Rev. Joey Andrews of Oakland Baptist Church and Rev. Earl Wiggins of Harvest Temple Church of God, is officiating.


Interment will follow in the Oak View Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Chris Parlor, Stacy Leggett, Jason Leggett, Ashley Waters, Jeremy McDaniel, and Colby Miller.


Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Hazlehurst Masonic Lodge.
