Mrs. Jessie Pearl Dykes McMahon, age 84, of Hazlehurst, passed away Monday, August 19, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. McMahon was born April 29, 1935 in Bacon County to the late D.Z. Dykes and the late Bessie Hutchinson Dykes. She was retired from Hazlehurst Mills, Alco Controls, and a member of Heritage Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Hugh McMahon, two sisters, Betty Langston and Doris Daniels, two brothers, Comer Dykes and Chester Dykes and four grandchildren.

Survivors include five daughters, Krickett Kersey (Buddy Bass), Sherrie Rentz, Teresa Creech (Johnny), Barbara Pilkinton, and Geneva Anthony; stepson, Andy McMahon (Mildred); Furbaby, Tom the Fatcat; brothers, Archie Dykes, James Dykes and A.B. Dykes; five grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survived.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright and Parlor Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor with Rev. Ronnie Wilcox officiating. Interment will follow in the Baxley Graveyard.
