Mrs. Jessie Mae Fordham Varnadoe, age 82, of Lumber City, died Tuesday, January 07, 2020 at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Mrs. Varnadoe was born October 19, 1937 in Telfair County to the late John Prentice Fordham and the late Annie Mae Lavender Fordham. She was a Business owner, Homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of Lumber City. She is preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Varnadoe, daughter Elaine Williams, brothers, Jack Fordham and Charles Fordham.

Survivors include her three daughters, Rhonda Taylor (Carl) of Hazlehurst, Susan Webster (Tommy) of Lumber City and Yvonne Ertzberger of Lumber City; two sons, Mike Varnadoe (Dawn) of Lumber City and Derrick Varnadoe of Lumber City; brother, Greg Fordham of Lumber City; grandchildren, Ryan Taylor, Jordan Taylor, Hope Webster, Heather Graham, Jaci Varnadoe, Chris Wilcox, Craig Wilcox, Danny Smith, Mollie Jefferys, and Jody Neal; several great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren also survived.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at First United Methodist Church of Lumber City.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 10, 2020 at 2:00pm at First United Methodist Church of Lumber City with Rev. Andy Brownley and Mr. Carl Taylor officiating.

Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery.
