In loving memory of Mr. Jimmie Ronald Rowland, age 72, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, June 27, 2022 ay Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah.

Mr. Rowland was born September 27, 1949 in Jeff Davis County.

He is preceded in death by his father, Roscoe Marion (Little Bud) Rowland, and his wife, Oveda Dianne Rowland, grandson, Zachery Douglas and nephew, Johnny Buford.

He was of the Pentecostal faith. His favorite Hobby was hunting (until he said he couldn't drag one out of the woods), loved watching Nascar, and collecting things. He loved his fur babies but loved his family with all his heart. He was one you could call anytime and he would come. His family always came first for him and he will be truly sadly missed.

Survivors include daughters, Helen Sellers (Herman) of Hazlehurst, Becky Hall of Hazlehurst and Jessica Disharoon Piper (Nathan) of Hazlehurst; sons, Ronald Marion Rowland of Hazlehurst and Christopher Rowland of Hazlehurst; mother, Jennelle Turner Washam of Hazlehurst; brother, Jerry M. Rowland (Ann) of Hazlehurst; Sister, Gwen Buford (Wayne) of Hazlehurst; three grandchildren, Shaila Ellis, Bowen Dixon and Donovan Douglas; three great-grandchildren, Bailey Ellis, Jackie Dixon and Blair Dixon; fiancé, Lucille McEachin of Hazlehurst; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022

at Hazlehurst Church of God, visitation will begin at 10:00am and funeral service will follow at 11:00am with Rev. John Nunes officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery.

The Rowland Family and Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home respectfully ask all in attendance to continue to follow social distancing guidelines set by our local health district and the CDC.
