Mr. Jimmie Lee Walls, age 79, of Hazlehurst, died Friday, April 1, 2016 at Hospice of Chattanooga in Tennessee. Mr. Walls was born May 27, 1936 in Jeff Davis County to the late Will Walls and the late Wealthy Davis Walls. He was retired from Gold Kist and a member of Currie Street Methodist Mission. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ada Frances, Mary Boone, Louise Floyd and Cathern Hope; brothers, Benjamin Walls, James Walls, George Walls, Allen Walls, Johnny Walls and Willie Walls. Survivors include his sister, Rosa Swain of Dayton, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 7:00-9:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Satilla Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Mr. Jimmie Lee Walls, age 79, of Hazlehurst.
