Jimmy Ray Cain, age 75, of Hazlehurst, died Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Cain was born July 20, 1943 in Jeff Davis County to the late Eugene Alexander Cain and the late Alma Lou Kirkland Cain. He was a retired Truck Driver and member of Heritage Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Jo Cain. Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Martha Cain of Hazlehurst; son, Ricky (Melissa) Cain; sister, Shirley (Jeff) Ellis; brother, Paul Ernest (Gail) Cain; two grandchildren, Christopher Bohannon and Haley Griffin; two great-grandchildren, Connor Griffin and Christopher Bohannon, Jr., several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home, visitation will begin at 1:00pm and funeral services will follow at 2:00pm with Rev. Glenn Bohannon and Rev. Dexter Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery. The family may be contacted at the residence, 651 Satilla Church Road, Hazlehurst.
