Mrs. JoAnn Bryant Adams, age 71, of Hazlehurst, died Tuesday, February 05, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Adams was born September 24, 1947 in Jeff Davis County to the late David Otis Bryant and the late Myrtice Griffin Bryant. She was retired from Hazlehurst Mills and a member of Hazlehurst Church of God. She is preceded in death by a brother, James Bryant. Survivors include her husband, James Howard Adams of Hazlehurst; daughter, Lisa Reagin (Tim) of Hazlehurst; son, James David Adams (Melanie) of Baxley; sisters, Betty Walsh (Carroll) of Hazlehurst, Vanessa Lang (Wade) of Bainbridge, Carolyn Ray (Gene) of Baxley, and Shiron Williams (Hubert) of Hazlehurst; brother, Paul Edsil Bryant of France; grandson, Rudy Pritchett (Anna) of Hazlehurst; two great-grandsons, Braydon Creech and Ace Pritchett; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 08, 2019 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. John Nunes officiating.
