JoAnn Lynn Hutcheson, age 59, of Hazlehurst, died Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Augusta University. Mrs. Hutcheson was born July 23, 1959 in Pottsville Pennsylvania to the late Malvern Robert Bitting Sr. and the late Evelyn Wall Bitting. She was previously employed with Alco and was a member of Satilla Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Brandi Wimberly (Daniel) of Hazlehurst; step-son, Skipper Hutcheson of Hazlehurst; two sisters, Nancy Corbitt of Tifton and Cheryl Bohannon (Ronnie) of Hazlehurst; two brothers, Sonny Bitting (Martha) of Lumber City and Billy Bitting (Brenda) of Hazlehurst; two grandchildren, Kady and Karson Wimberly, several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2018 at 2:00pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Brazzell and Rev. Wayne Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Funeral Home to help with Funeral Expenses.
