Mr. Joey Daniel Morris, Sr., age 62, of Hazlehurst, passed away at his residence under the care of his family and Community Hospice.

Mr. Joey was born on March 15, 1962, in Jeff Davis County.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. John Henry Morris and Mrs. Ola Mae Gibson Morris and his son, Henry Lee Morris.

Mr. Joey was a ray of sunshine, always sharing a smile with everyone.

He is survived by his children, Joe Daniel Morris Jr (Mellissa) of Hazlehurst, Tammy Lynn Morris of Hazlehurst, brother, Carlos Morris (Luann) of Texas, sister, Wanda Griggers (Joe) of Griffin, and several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date and time in our Chapel, and at that time the funeral home will post that information.
