Mr. John W. Dykes, age 93, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, July 09, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Dykes was born November 27, 1926 in Bleckley County to the late James Russell Dykes and the late Nora Lee Bryant.   He was a Veteran of the United States Army, retired from Amercord and a member of the Jeff Davis Masonic Lodge #283. He was a member of the Southside Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Mrs. Joyce White    Dykes of Hazlehurst; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Don Rollins of McRae;  granddaughter, Heather (Brad) Dixon of McRae, niece, Brenda Lucas of Savannah.

Private Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 11:00am in Palms Memorial Garden with Rev. Ricky Baldwin, Rev. Deek Dubberly and Rev. Jeffery Spell.
