John Joseph Joyce, Jr. age 71, of Denton, died Thursday, March 06, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Joyce was born December 23, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA. to the late John Joseph Joyce, Sr. and the late Lucy Teresa Palmer Singer. He was a Retired Aircraft Mechanic with Delta and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Tarrant Joyce; two Daughters and Sons-in-Law, Teresa and Burch Wilcox of Denton and Iris and Lane Foskey of Waycross; Son and Daughter-In-Law, James and Kathy Powell of Hazlehurst; Eleven Grandchildren, Twenty Two Great-Grandchildren, One Great-Great-Grandchild and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Monday, March 10, 2014 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Sheila Marchant giving a Eulogy.
