Mr. John Low Sellers, age 80, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, February 16, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Sellers was born May 01, 1938 in Jeff Davis County to the late Willie Sellers and the late Willie May Cooner Sellers. H was retired from Jeff Davis County Road Department and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Raylene Sellers, Lamar Sellers, Jaunice Sellers, Homer Sellers and Donnie Sellers. Survivors include his wife, Louise Creamer Sellers of Hazlehurst, daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Kay and Tony Powell of Hazlehurst; son and daughter-in-law, Johnny Kevin and Melanie Sellers of Hazlehurst; sisters, Ann Baucom of Hazlehurst, Sherry Carter (Lewis) of Baxley, and Jewel Powell of Jacksonville FL.; brother, Eugene Sellers (Diane) of Hazlehurst; six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Jones and Rev. David Barber officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family may be contacted at the Sellers residence, 361 Lumber City Highway, Hazlehurst.
