John Charles Waters, age 52, of Hazlehurst died Monday, September 13, 2021 at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Mr. Waters was born April 09, 1969 in Jeff Davis County.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Daniel Waters, grandfather, Reno "Rass" Carter, grandmother, Juanita Carter, and grandmother Sally Waters. He was an EMT, Chief of Fireman for Hazlehurst and Baxley, loved to cook and drove a truck for Walmart Distribution.

Survivors include his wife, Angie Davis Waters of Hazlehurst; sons, Jackson Floyd and Ethan Waters; daughters, Candace Floyd (Keith), Jenna Griffin (Kevin), Abbigail Waters, Emma Waters, Anna Waters and Isabelle Waters; mother, Shirley Ann DesRosier (Larry); mother and father-in-law, Wayne and Betty Davis; brothers, Toby Morris and Mike Smith; granddaughter, Jada Beth Hill; brother-in-law, Craig Davis (Kelly) and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Graveside Services will be held Monday, September 20, 2021 at 11:00am at Zoar Baptist Church with Rev. Patrick Owens officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Kevin Heath, Craig Davis, Brandon Lewis, Tommy Nash and Collin Crawford.
