Johnny M. Baucom, age 70, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, May 19, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Baucom was born April 13, 1944 in Jeff Davis County to the late Allen Sidney Baucom and the late Oneda Powell Baucom. He was a retired Farmer. Survivors include his wife, Ann Baucom of Hazlehurst; Two Daughters, Amy Dykes and Amanda Baucom, both of Hazlehurst; Four Sons, Johnny Lynn Baucom of Baxley, Paul Allen Baucom, William Doug Baucom and Chad Dewayne Baucom all of Hazlehurst; Three Sisters, Betty Newman of Snipesville, Marilyn Powell of Waverly and Patsy Yawn of Hazlehurst; Two Brothers, Roy Baucom of Hazlehurst and Earl Baucom of Graham; Five Grandchildren, Colby Baucom, Randi Baucom, Trey Dykes, Garrett Baucom and Cole Baucom; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Hal Jeffcoat and Rev. David Herndon officiating. Interment will follow in the Bridgeford Church of God Cemetery. Family may be contacted at the residence, 111 John Rentz Road, Hazlehurst.
