Joshua Neal Bouknight, age 14, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, April 19, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Bouknight was born July 24, 2003 in Coffee County. He was a student at Jeff Davis County Middle School and a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his paternal Grandparents, Teresa Rea and Walter Bouknight. Survivors include his parents, Michael and Rebecca Bouknight of Hazlehurst; sister, Ashlyn Bouknight of Hazlehurst; brother Ryland Watson of Hazlehurst; maternal grandparents, Bradley and Onita Watson of Hazlehurst; paternal great-grandmother, Mozelle Stanley of Newberry, S.C.; uncles, Brad Watson (Krystal) of Glenwood and Robbie Carroll (Sherry) of Douglas; aunts, Marie Duque (Tony) of Douglas and Trena Robertson of Townsend; several cousins and special friends and family also survived. Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 2:00pm at Elizabeth Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Yawn and Rev. Alvin Merritt officiating. Interment will follow in Palms Memorial Garden. Joshua will lie in state one hour prior to service.
