Mrs. Joyce Disharoon Carter, age 61, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, December 26, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Carter was born September 18, 1959 in Jeff Davis County.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Disharoon and her mother, Lillie Rea Disharoon. She was formerly a Real Estate Agent and a member of Union Springs Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Carter of Hazlehurst; daughters, Jennifer Graham (Stephen Dukes) of Hazlehurst, Mariah Carter Herndon (Ryan) of Hazlehurst and Michala Carter of Hazlehurst; son, Johnathon Graham (Carly) of Hazlehurst; sister, Judy Anderson (Willie) of Snipesville; grandchildren, Kylee Hosmer, Gavin Coleman, Kaelyn Creamer, Tatym Leggett, Maggie Graham, Evelyn Graham and Zayden Herndon;   nephew, Ashley Anderson (Amber) also survive.

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 2:00pm at Union Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev.    Deek Dubberly officiating.
