Ms. Joyce Moreland Edwards, age 74, of Hazlehurst, died Saturday, August 05, 2017 at Jeff Davis Hospital. Ms. Edwards was born September 08, 1942 in Chatham County to the late Perry C. Moreland, Jr. and the late Wadie Brower Moreland. She was a Homemaker and member of First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Cleveland Edwards Sr. Survivors include two daughters, Tonya Creamer (Charles) of Hazlehurst and Kathy Harlan (Micheal) of Kansas; four sons, Jimmy Edwards (Melanie) of Savannah, Ronny Edwards of Hazlehurst, Richard Edwards of California and Alan Edwards of Hazlehurst; sister, Sonia Hood of Savannah; brother, PC Moreland of Savannah; fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Friday, August 11, 2017at 1:00pm at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery in Savannah.
