Joyce Herrington Lee, age 61, of Hazlehurst, died Sunday, December 31, 2017 at her residence in Jeff Davis County. Mrs. Lee was born May 17, 1956 in Jeff Davis County to the late Alvin Herrington and the late Margie McNeal Carnes. She was retired from Harvey's Grocery and a member of the Hazlehurst Church of God. She is preceded also in death by her brother, Steve Herrington. Survivors include her daughter, Brittany (Allen) Hart of Surrency; three sisters, Barbara (Ricky) Hall of Baxley, Brenda (J.R.) Patton of Hazlehurst and Judy (Joe) Ciccimaro of Enterprise AL; two brothers, David Lee Herrington of Hazlehurst and Bruce Herrington of Grand Prairie, TX; several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation and Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 03, 2018 at Hazlehurst Church of God, visitation will begin at 1:00pm and funeral service will follow at 2:00pm with Rev. John Nunes and Rev. Darrell Hand officiating. Interment will follow in the Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery. The family may be contacted at the residence of her sister, Barbara Hall, 136 Claxton Road, Baxley.
