Kathleen Fussell Brewer, age 85, of Lumber City, died Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at her sons home. Mrs. Brewer was born August 19, 1931 in Bacon County to the late Brown Fussell and the late Eunice Stokes Fussell. She was a retired reported with the Lumber City Log and member of Shelton Chapel. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Brewer Jr. and son, Thomas Brewer III. Survivors include two sons, Myles Brewer of Lumber City and Todd (Tarsha) Brewer of Hazlehurst; brother, Jesse Fussell of Arizona; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survived. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 07, 2017 at 11:00am at Shelton Chapel in Telfair County with Rev. Faye Yawn officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Brewer will lie in state one hour prior to service time. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Kathleen Fussell Brewer, age 85, of Lumber City.
