Mrs. Kathryn Livingston Miles, age 77, of Lumber City, died Thursday, January 09, 2020, at her residence.

Mrs. Miles was born December 23, 1942 in Telfair County to the late V.A. Livingston and the late Lillie White Livingston.  She was retired  School Nutritionist with the Jeff Davis County School System and a member of Oakland Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Glynn Miles, grandson, Jacob Bloodworth, sister-in-law, Nina Livingston and great niece Kerri Conner.

Survivors include her two daughters and son-in-law, Shari L. Miles of Hazlehurst and Donna M. and Dean Norris of Hazlehurst; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery G. and Rhonda Miles of Hazlehurst; brothers, Larry Livingston and David Livingston (Martha Jane) both of Lumber City; Nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survived.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 13, 2020 at 11:00am at Oakland Baptist Church with Rev. Royce Hulett and Rev. Joey Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Miles will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
