He left behind a legacy that one should be proud of.

Kenneth Marlin Williams, age 78, of Hazlehurst, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Jeff Davis Hospital in Hazlehurst under the care of Georgia Hospice Care.

He was born on February 19, 1948, in Jeff Davis County, to the late A.J. Jr. and Ruth Williams. He was a native and lifelong resident of Jeff Davis County. He served in the United States Air Force and served on the USDA- Farm Service Agency county committee. Kenny had a love for his land and found joy in the middle of a tobacco patch on the family farm. He found pride in operating the family row crop farm that has been passed down through five generations in the Williams family. Kenny was a hard-working southern gentleman with a meek, humble spirit. Above all, he loved his family and spending time with them. He left behind a legacy that one should be proud of.

He is preceded in death by his parents, A.J. Jr. and Ruth Williams.

Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Janiece McEachin Williams of Hazlehurst; his sons and daughters-in-law, Ken & Kristi Williams of Hazlehurst, and Jason & Brandi Williams of Hazlehurst; his brother, Ronnie Williams (Kay) of Hazlehurst, his sisters, Rachel Toler (Larry) of Alma and Joan Pickren of Augusta. His grandchildren, Wyatt Williams (Kalli), Karli Williams, Whitley McConathy (Colton) and Kole Williams (Alyssa), one great-grandchild, Wilder Williams and one on the way, Carter Grace Williams, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Hazlehurst Church of God.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Hazlehurst Church of God with Brian Brazell and Roger Daniels officiating.

Burial will follow in the Satilla Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Kole Williams, Wyatt Williams, Levi Williams, Oakley Perry, Nathan McLeod, and Tyler Williams.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Wommack, Ryan Wommack, and the Georgia State Patrol.
