Mr. L.A. Hand, age 94, of Denton, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Hand was born February 25, 1924 in Jeff Davis County to the late Luther Anderson Hand Sr. and the late Sadie Marchant Hand. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II, retired Farmer and a member and deacon of Denton Baptist Church. He was awarded the first "Young Farmer of the Year
