Mr. Larry E. Morris, age 59, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, November 02, 2020, at Jeff Davis Hospital.

Mr. Morris was born December 09, 1960 in Telfair County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Lenna Watson Morris.

He was a graduate of the class of 1978 of Jeff Davis High School. He graduated Zeta Beta Tau from University of Georgia in 1981 with a degree in Agriculture.

Then he returned to Jeff Davis County and became the owner and operator of Ocmulgee Western Wear for many years.

He loved the Farm, Roping and loved people, he never met a stranger, and loved to talk.  He spent a lot of time traveling the country, he was a devout Christian, loved the Lord, loved listening and singing gospel music.

Survivors include his wife, Shelia Sears Morris of Hazlehurst; brother, Charles Morris (Carlin) Morris of Dallas Texas; sister, Raylene Morris Carter (Gary) of LaGrange; mother-in-law, Shirley Walters of Hazlehurst; brother and sister-in-law, Marty and Cindy Walters of Hazlehurst, niece, Caitlin and Mike Hyatt of Dallas Texas; nephew, Charlie and Lindsey Morris of Dallas Texas, Garret Walters of Hazlehurst and Cade Walters of Hazlehurst; five great- nieces, 1 great-nephew and six grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 03, 2020 at 2:00pm in the Palms Memorial Garden with Rev. J. Barry Owens officiating.
