Larry Moody, age 57, of Baxley, died Friday, November 1, 2013 at Serenity Hospice House in Dublin. Mr. Moody was born March 7, 1956 in Appling County to the late Aldine Moody and the late Jewelteen Lamb Moody. He was retired from Appling County Road Department and he was a member of Melton Chapel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lucy Moody. Survivors include his Sisters, Patricia (Toby) Evans of Jefferson, Merlene (Ray) Carter of Baxley and Helen (Stanley) Powell of Orlando, Fl.; Brothers, John Corey of Baxley and Ben (Earlene) Corey of Hazlehurst; Nephews, Ricky (Michelle) Beckworth of Baxley, Rusty (Kim) Beckworth of Baxley and Daniel Evans of Stockbridge. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00-2:00pm at Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Sack Officiating. Family may be contacted at the residence of Toby & Patricia Evans, 124 Terrell Lane, Jefferson, Ga. 30549. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Serenity Hospice House in Dublin Georgia. Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
